Executive Electronics Through the Eyes of an Industry Veteran

by Ed Warminski

As a 30-year veteran in the low-voltage industry, I have worked for some of the largest security companies in the country. For the past two and a half years I have had the pleasure of working for Executive Electronics (EE) as their Operation Manager. Having worked for larger corporate-owned companies, I was not sure what to expect working for a family-owned company. Needless to say, I am excited to be part of a company where I can converse directly with ownership. Furthermore, the technology EE installs for its clients is much more expansive than I was used to - the Audio-Visual side of our business has grown tremendously and continues to evolve.

Business direction discussions or any day-to-day challenges that may arise are always handled expeditiously as EE ownership is on-site and easily accessible, making the customer experience a positive one. A recent example of that is when one of our customers had a problem with an aging security system. They drove to our office to speak with us about the problems they were experiencing. And as usual, the problem was handled with a site visit by EE ownership, me, and our senior technician to take care of the problem. That customer is now a raving fan.

Let’s face it, the idea of having an alarm system installed in your home, though a great idea from a safety and insurance perspective, may not be the most exciting purchase you make. However, with the breadth of technology offerings at EE, we can make it both exciting and impressive. Most security companies choose not to get into offering a total home automation solution, but we are built differently from a parts and skill perspective and can offer that option. EE will customize a system based on the needs of the individual customer – no cookie-cutter systems at Executive Electronics.

Imagine coming home and as you pull into the driveway, you simply hit a button on your mobile device to disarm your security system, change the temperature on your thermostat, turn lights on, unlock doors, and have your window shades move to a preprogrammed position. And all of these features can be controlled from anywhere in the world via a mobile app.

Executive Electronics is extremely excited about its expansion, not only in the Southwest Florida market it has served for the past 40 years, but also in the Tampa Bay region as well. EE is opening an Experience Center in Naples this coming December so existing and potential clients can experience the latest and greatest technology. In addition, EE has expanded its footprint to the Tampa Bay region and looks forward to serving more and more customers throughout the western part of Florida. It is an exciting 2022 at EE and we all firmly believe that the future is bright!
