Is there really such a thing as "prices too low to advertise"?

by Product Specialist

Like having a kitchen sink full of money…

With the Friedmans Home Experience remodeling sale in full swing, and advertising going out there, we invariably get questions about why we never advertise specific models and specific prices.

Well, the line that always ends up in the advertising is true: a great number of the high-end lines that we sell require adherence to MAP: Minimum Advertised Pricing.

That’s why you rarely see sale prices in any of our materials. If we do it, we can lose the right to carry those products.

That said, there are some killer deals. And while it may be inconvenient that you have to come in to the store to find out, think about the upside.

If you get 40% off of a range that normally retails for $8,000, was that visit worth the $3,200 you’re going to save?

And at the very least, even if you decide not to buy anything, we get to see you and we’ll offer you a cup of coffee.

Better than going to Starbucks? We think so. (But then, we are biased.)

The remodeling sale, with prices too low to advertise, goes on until everything’s gone. One-of-a-kind items, choice floor models, some product new in the box. First come, first served. And do you really want to let someone else get there first?
